A Mission In Snow

It was a mission, but I did it. I trudged through at least four feet of soft packed snow and got to my back yard through the side entrance of my house! It was hard, but I had the camera along with me for the ride to take some pictures. Actually, I had intended to go there a while ago because there was an interesting ice formation on the wall (I saw it a week ago) at the back of the house, and I had wanted to photograph that. Today was a day off for me, and I finally decided to go and look for that ice formation that I had seen. I couldn't find it because it was buried deep in the snow we had over this week, but I brought my camera along and had to take some pictures.:) Click on images to view a larger version.
An interesting shot of a snow covered bag. It looked more pleasant in real life than in this picture, but this is one of the best I got of it.

This is a shot of the frozen ice. The full high resolution image looks really nice. You have to view the bigger image by clicking on this one above to get a feel for the full size one. THe full size image is double the size of the one that shows up when you click on this. This shot captures some of the details of the ice really well.
