Montreal

Some pictures from our trip to Montreal...
We went to Montreal and Quebec City, which are both European-flavoured cities located in the province of Quebec, which was originally a territory of France (back in the 1600s). The provice of Quebec is the only province in Canada to have only French as an official language, and thus all signs are in French. Anyway, we got back on Tuesday morning at 3:30 AM, after a long drive of 8 hours from Quebec City. We spent Friday, Saturday and half of Sunday in Montreal, and spend the latter half of Sunday and Monday in Quebec City. Quebec City is about a 2-3 hour drive from Montreal, which itself is a 5-6 hour drive from Toronto.

A picture of Yasir's attempt at writing Abbu's name:

Yasir having two opposite drinks again! Compare this to the picture from Ottawa of Yasir having 2 drinks (the one at the right).

The city of Montreal from a cathedral looking south (I think) during sunset. There were also some services that were taking place during the time we were at that church.

Montreal's downtown from the Olympic Park area.

Notre Dame Basilica, of course in Montreal.

Inside the Basilica was beautiful:

The biodome had interesting life forms in it:
