Website Done
My website is now fully done with custom HTML code!!! YAY! Visit here.
It took a long time, and it was boring indeed, but file sizes have been reduced almost by 75% in some cases. I had to completely rewrite each page from scratch. Word made some nasty HTML code :(. Some pages have gotten new content and some others have gotten just simple a facelift and almost all pages have gotten pictures. Most of these pictures were custom-made on Photopaint 11 from Corel (website).
Second thing that got changed was the sidebar or navigation panel. It looked very ugly before and had too many links in it to be useful. Now it is much more cleaned up and only contains vital links to areas of my site.
Also, I am currently learning JavaScript and ActiveX (which doesn't work on Firefox) which I hope to include in my pages. There is already a basic browser check on the first home page, which just checks to see if the browser is IE or not. Not very useful.
Lastly, if you still want to visit my old site, it will still be up for a while, though any links will not work (so you have to know the absolute address of the page to go to it). It is the same address as before but just the folder 'Bckup' was added. That is, the address for the old homepage is www.geocities.com/abidhasan@rogers.com/Bckup/index.html
